Quartz sand filter
Quartz sand filter is used in the first filter of the water treatment, the filter medium is quartz sand, it can remove the suspended larger solids than the filter pores, nice corrosion-resistance and strong absorption both can be used repeatedly. The quartz sand is divided into three layer: A coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand, with the filtering, the impurities are removed more ,the porous filter is getting smaller and smaller, so that fine particles and micro-organisms were also intercepted.
Working Principle of sand filter
Mechanical sand filter, also known as pressure filter, is an important part of the pre-pure water pretreatment and water purification systerms.Mechanical sand filter packing is mainly used to reduce water turbidity, remove the water suspended particles, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, residual chlorine and some heavy metal ions.
The turbidity of raw water require less than 20 degrees, and it will up to 3 degrees when the filtration completed.
Application of sand filter
Chemical, petroleum industrial, pharmaceutical, light industry, food, mineral processing, water treatment, electroplating, metallurgy, textile, dye industry.
Activated carbon filter
Activated carbon filter is used in the second filter of the water treatment, the filter media is active carbon. It can adsorb metal such as mercury lead and many other heavy metals, it also can adsorb organic pollutants, peculiar smell, to improve the sense of the shape of the water
Ion exchange filter
Ion softening filter effect is to reduce the hardness of water, raw water from the top to bottom soften through the switch, the magnesiumcalcium and cationic included in the water is exchanged with the water exchanger sodium ion ,change the high hardness water to drink water.
